and here I thought you were going to show a before and after of his first hair cut - it is super cute how it is, but you know. Not a huge bump! Good to see he is still smiling!
Holy crap.Pardon me but that's the first thing that came to mind!!Missed the updates on life in Illinois.Think of you often and check on you just as much. Here, well ... ya know.Chaos.Beautiful chaos.
"God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people. He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with Down syndrome doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special family." (amazingly- insightful author unknown)
As luck would have it, I am blessed to be the mom of 3 exceptional boys... Andrew, Sam and Sean,
and to be married to Patrick. Amidst the pandemonium that I have become so accustom to, I am also an artist and boxmaker.
Sam was born 13 weeks premature and he has Down syndrome, but that hasn't stopped him. He was blessed with an extra chromosome and we are blessed with so much more. Sam teaches us all that... slow and steady wins the race.

He is sooooo cute!!! That bump looks like it really hurts, but it didn't take away from his cuteness one bit. So sweet!!
And yet, he's still smiling. What a cutie he is!
