I can't believe how big your kids have gotten! Especially Sam! You posted a new picture of him recently and I couldn't believe how grown up he's looking! Oh..and maybe you'd be interested in this contest? http://gardenofeagan.blogspot.com/2008/12/its-raffle.html
Christmas is a fun time of the year for the kids. Now just trying to keep Lily and Trevor from fight too much until Santa comes. Check out my sports page to see a video of Brian walking already, at only ten months.
"God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people. He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with Down syndrome doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special family." (amazingly- insightful author unknown)
As luck would have it, I am blessed to be the mom of 3 exceptional boys... Andrew, Sam and Sean,
and to be married to Patrick. Amidst the pandemonium that I have become so accustom to, I am also an artist and boxmaker.
Sam was born 13 weeks premature and he has Down syndrome, but that hasn't stopped him. He was blessed with an extra chromosome and we are blessed with so much more. Sam teaches us all that... slow and steady wins the race.
