OH NO! Nothing that exciting. The garage door died, so we were opening it manually... then the drum broke and the cable snapped. The door was bent and jammed so we had to disassemble the door in order to get the van out of the garage. All the neighbors think we are putting up really cool Halloween decorations... we will just let them think that...LOL
"God doesn't give children with special needs to strong people. He gives children with special needs to ordinary, weak people and then gives them strength. Raising a child with Down syndrome doesn't TAKE a special family, it MAKES a special family." (amazingly- insightful author unknown)
As luck would have it, I am blessed to be the mom of 3 exceptional boys... Andrew, Sam and Sean,
and to be married to Patrick. Amidst the pandemonium that I have become so accustom to, I am also an artist and boxmaker.
Sam was born 13 weeks premature and he has Down syndrome, but that hasn't stopped him. He was blessed with an extra chromosome and we are blessed with so much more. Sam teaches us all that... slow and steady wins the race.

please tell me you didn't try backing out before opening the door.
